Ray Sharp's 1961 E-Type FHC Featured at the 2011 New York International Auto Show

April 22 -May 1, 2011

The New York International Auto Show takes place every year at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

Jaguar, celebrating the 50th aniversary of the E-Type, incorporated vintage E-Types into the 2011 show to publicize the latest Jaguar models.

Jaguar shipped in around 2 dozen E-Types from around the tri-state area for the event - most were on show outside the Javits Center, and a few more were on display at the place across town where a separate E-Type Extravaganza took place.

Ray's car was one of those latter ones on display (two were outside the extravaganza event location and one was on display inside the Javits Center). It is expected that they selected Ray's' 61 Coupe because it is a '61 and because it looked stunning on the stand, and really complemented the new Jags on display.

Ray's dark green 1961 FHC was restored by Lippincott's Garage.
